The Prowise Touchscreens have a built-in timer that automatically shuts down after four hours of no interaction with the screen. This timer is activated due to European Union environmental guidelines to save power and is required by law.
The following actions are considered by the screen as interactions:
- Changing the volume
- Changing input source
- Touching the screen
- Overall operation via the Central menu/the remote control
