It can happen that the picture cuts out or starts flickering or the sound cuts out in Windows on the TSx G1 in combination with the OPS G4 (intel 11th generation).
After rebooting, this returns. This is due to a Windows update installing a driver that is actually meant for an Intel NUC.
You do need admin rights to apply this solution. If you don't have these, it's best to contact your Windows administrator.
Solution:
- Open "Device manager" by pressing right mouse button on start/Windows logo and then "Device manager".
- Then remove the bottom "HD Audio Driver for Display Audio" by pressing the red cross.
- You will then see the following:
Make sure "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" is selected and then click "Uninstall". - Repeat these steps with the 2nd driver:
- Then go to "Display Adapters" and remove "Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics" by pressing the red cross.
- You will then see the following:
Make sure "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" is ticked and then click "Uninstall". - You will then see the image get bigger or very small.
- Then download the latest Driver from Intel
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-dch-drivers.html - After downloading, install the driver, at startup it may take a while until you see something.
- While installing, you will come to the following:
Check "Execute a Clean installation" and then press "Start". - Reboot the PC module after the installation is complete.
