How to Register a New Account

Creating a Prowise account allows you to access all Prowise applications securely. You can register using a social provider (Google, Microsoft, Apple), an institution account, or an email address. During the process, you must agree to our terms and conditions and finalize your account setup.

A. Go to the registration page

B. Choosing a Sign-In Method

You can register using:

  • Google, Microsoft, or Apple

  • A school/institution account

  • An email and password

Depending on your choice, the registration process may slightly vary.

C. Verification and Initial Setup

  1. Email Verification (For Microsoft & email-based registration):

    • If using Microsoft, you will receive a verification code via email.

    • Enter the code on the registration page to continue.

  2. Institution Accounts:

    • Some institutions do not let users set a password upon first login.

  3. Agreement to Terms:

    • Before completing registration, you must agree to the terms and conditions.

D. Account Validation

  • Prowise evaluates your email, IP, and other heuristics to validate the registration request.

  • Some requests may be denied automatically.

  • If your registration is rejected, you can appeal through Prowise Service for manual review.

E. Finalizing Your Account

Once verified, you will be redirected to set up your password.

  • Password requirements include:

    • Strength check (based on brute-force resistance).

    • Leak check (compared against known breached passwords via "Have I Been Pwned").

    • General rules: Must include at least three of the following:

      • Lowercase letters

      • Uppercase letters

      • Numbers

      • Special characters

    • We recommend using a passphrase for better security.
