For proper operation of Prowise touchscreens with an internal PC, we use a number of recommended power settings in Windows. I would ask you to check the Windows power settings. How to do this can be found below:
- Click on the Windows logo and type 'Control Panel' and open it.
- Make sure 'View by:' is on icons in the top right corner.
- Open Power Options.
- Click on 'Choose what the power buttons do'.
- - The 'Action when I press the power button:' should be set to 'Shut down'.
- The 'Turn on fast startup (recommended)' option should be unchecked. If you can't change this option, click the 'Change settings that are currently unavailable' line at the top. - Click on 'Save changes'.
- Click 'Choose when to turn off the display'.
- Make sure all options are set to 'Never'.
- Click 'Save changes' and close the window.
