General Access & Restrictions

Who Can Use Safe Share?

Safe Share is designed to facilitate secure information exchange between Prowise personnel and customers. Access is controlled to ensure security and prevent unauthorized sharing.

  • Prowise personnel can create and share secrets with specific customers by entering their email addresses.

  • Customers can securely share secrets with designated Prowise teams, such as:

    • Service

    • GO Engineers

    • Inside Sales

  • Guests (non-Prowise users) may be invited by Prowise personnel to share information via a temporary, single-use link.

  • Customers cannot share secrets with other customers

You can access Safe Share at: https://safe-share.prowise.com/.

How Access Works

Logged-in Users

  • Prowise personnel and customers must log in using their Prowise Account to create and manage secrets.

  • Language settings for logged-in users are inherited from their Prowise Account.

Guests & Unauthenticated Users

  • Guests do not need a Prowise Account but must be invited to share a secret.

  • Non-logged-in users can change their language manually via the top-right language selection.

  • Guests are restricted to a single-use invitation for sharing.

Sharing Restrictions

  • Customers must choose a Prowise group when sharing a secret (Service, GO Engineers, Inside Sales).

  • Prowise personnel must specify a customer email to share a secret with them.

  • Guest invitations are created only by Prowise personnel and are one-time use.

  • Safe Share does not automatically email generated secret links – users must copy and send the link via their chosen communication method.

Security Considerations

To ensure secure usage, Safe Share follows these principles:

  • No stored secrets – Once accessed, the secret is permanently deleted.

  • Controlled recipient access – Only the designated recipient can open the secret.

  • Manual link sharing – To prevent email interception, links are never sent automatically.

  • Access expiration – Secrets have a defined expiration period to reduce exposure risk.
