Sometimes the AppleTV may cause the Touchscreen to shut down.
This can be resolved by setting the following:
- Go to Settings on the AppleTV
- Choose 'Remote control and devices'
- Choose 'Control TVs and receivers'
- Select 'OFF'
Does this not solve the problem? Then it is also advisable to adjust the following setting:
- Go to Settings on the AppleTV
- Choose 'General'
- Set 'Activate hibernation after' to 'Never'
