How does the Google Play Store work in Screen Control?

If Google EDLA is enabled in Screen Control, you can manage the Google Play Store. This allows you to make Android apps available or to enforce their installation on the TSx G4. If the screen is registered in Screen Control, only Prowise apps will be available on the screen. All other apps will need to be added to the Play Store.
If Google EDLA has not yet been activated, you can send an email to service@prowise.com requesting that Google EDLA be activated. Please state the name of your environment in your email (you can find this at the top of admin.prowise.com)

Adding apps to the Play Store.

  1. Go to admin-new.prowise.com (from 17 April 2026, go to admin.prowise.com) and click on 'Google Play Store':

  2. Click on 'Manage approved apps':

  3. The first time, you’ll need to accept the cookies.
  4. You can now search for Android apps by entering the name in the search box. Then click on the magnifying glass:

  5. Click on the tile for the app you want to add, then click “Select”.

    If you want to force the installation of the app on the screens, click on the app in the “Application” column and select “Enforced” in the “Availability” field:
