Experiencing flickering, strange colours or blurry visuals? These quick checks usually solve it.
- Check Windows display settings
- Go to Start → Settings → System → Display
- Scroll down to Advanced display settings
- Verify the resolution:
- 16:9 screens → 3840 × 2160 (4K)
- 21:9 screens → 5120 × 2160 (5K)
- Set the Refresh rate to 60 Hz
Click Apply to confirm
- Adjust brightness or presets
- Open Prowise Central QuickMenu→ Settings → Display
- Choose a Display Preset: Default, Bright, Colourful, Soft or Custom
Fine-tune Brightness and Contrast as needed
- Check your connection when using external sources
- Use a certified HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort or USB-C (Alt Mode) cable
- Replace any low-quality or damaged cables
With USB-C, ensure the device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode
- Restart your screen
Sometimes, a reboot fixes display issues.
Go to Start → Power → Restart or hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
