When you maximise (open full screen) an external input on a Prowise touchscreen, you might still hear sound from other sources on the device. This happens because Windows plays and mixes all active audio sources at the same time.
To avoid this, it’s important to first mute or close any Windows apps that produce sound (like YouTube, Teams, Spotify, etc.). You can't mute all of Windows completely — that would also mute the audio from your external source.
So, before maximising an external source (full screen):
- Mute or close all other sound-producing apps on the touchscreen
- Check that the touchscreen itself is not muted
