Follow the instructions below to reinstall the firmware on the TSone. Please note that this will delete all files from the display (not the PC module)
To reinstall the firmware, you will need an 8 or 16 GB USB stick. This USB stick must be formatted as FAT32
Formatting USB stick
- Copy the file MstarUpgrade_848.bin to an empty USB stick.
Note that we have different firmware for each size screen. - Make sure the screen is off and plug the USB stick into the USB 2.0 port on the left side of the screen:
- Turn on the screen and hold the button until the LED starts flashing red and blue.
- After the firmware is installed, you need to go through the setup. It is important to connect to the Internet during the setup.
- After the setup has been completed, you can remove the USB stick.
- Reconnect the USB stick to a Windows device and delete the file.
- Download the following file and move it to the USB stick: https://we.tl/t-Ma0vGAR89L (firmware 1.1.2 / Central 6)
(you don't need to unzip the file) - Start the screen and make sure you are in the Central home screen.
- Connect the USB stick to 1 of the USB ports on the front of the screen.
- After a few moments, a popup will appear. Click OK to install the update.
- Once the update is installed, open Central's settings and go to 'About this screen'. Here, click on 'Check for updates'.
