Update PHP2Shell vulnrability (CVE-2026-109618 / CVE-2026-109619)

Update on availability of Prowise services

On Tuesday, 20 October, a critical security vulnerability was publicly disclosed in PHP, a widely used technology on which some Prowise services depend.

On Wednesday, 21 October, following reports of potential exploitation, we assessed the risks and decided to temporarily take affected services offline as a precaution. At that time, no security update was available.

Once a security update became available later that afternoon, our teams began implementing the necessary fixes and restoring services safely.

We have observed no indications that our services were compromised. Our precautionary measures were taken to protect the confidentiality and integrity of customer data.

Services unaffected by the vulnerability, including Prowise Single Sign-On (SSO) and our Service Portal, remained available throughout the incident.

We are still completing remediation work on two services:
Prowise Learn
Prowise Account

We expect these services to become available again early next week, subject to successful functional verifications.

We understand that the temporary unavailability of services can disrupt your daily activities and appreciate your patience while we complete this work.
