What to do if HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C is not detected on the Prowise Touchscreen Max?

If your device doesn’t show up on the screen, try the steps below to restore the connection.

 

  1. Check cables and ports

    • Make sure the cable is fully inserted into the correct port.
    • Try a different cable or port (HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort).
    • For USB-C: Confirm your device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.

     

  2. Select the input manually
    • Open the QuickMenu on the screen.
    • Tap Input and select the correct source (e.g. HDMI 1, USB-C).

       

  3. Restart the connection
    • Unplug and replug the cable on both ends.
    • Restart both the screen and your connected device.

       

Tip: USB-C carries both video and touch. HDMI and DisplayPort need a separate USB cable for touch control.
