How does NFC work on the Prowise Touchscreen Max?

With Prowise Central 7.2, you can easily log in on the Prowise Touchscreen Max using an NFC card. This gives you quick access to your personal Windows environment without having to manually enter your username and password each time.

To use NFC login, the following requirements must be met:

• You are using a Prowise Touchscreen Max
• Prowise Central 7.2 or higher is installed on the touchscreen
• You have a compatible NFC card

Programming the NFC card
You can easily link an NFC card to your Windows account via the settings menu of Prowise Central.

1. Open Settings from the Prowise Central menu.
2. Click on NFC.
3. Enter your domain name if necessary
4. Enter your Windows username and Windows password.
5. Click on Write card.
6. Hold your NFC card against the NFC reader in the centre at the bottom of the touchscreen.

The card will now be programmed and is immediately ready for use.

Logging in with an NFC card
Once the card has been programmed, you can easily log in:

1. Hold the NFC card against the NFC reader at the bottom of the touchscreen.
2. The system will automatically recognise the card.
3. You will be logged in directly to your Windows account.
