Recognising Prowise Touchscreens

This article helps you quickly identify which model of Prowise Touchscreen you have. There are three ways to do this: via the Prowise Chatbot, based on the structure of the serial number, or by looking at the physical features (pens and speakers).

Method 1: Quick lookup via Chatbot 'Philip'

The fastest and most accurate way to find out the model and warranty period (delivery date):

1. Go to service.prowise.com.

2. Click the contact button at the bottom right to start chatbot Philip.

3. Choose the option Product information.

4. Enter the serial number of the screen.

Method 2: Identify by serial number

The serial number directly reveals the model and size. There are two main types of serial numbers:

1. Recent models (From Touchscreen One/Ten/Ultra/Max)

The structure is as follows: S + [Model] + [Size] + [Generation] + [Unique code]

• First letter: S (for Screens)

• Second letter (Range): 

  • W = Max

  •  U = Ultra

  • T = Ten

  • O = One

• First 2 digits: The size in inches (e.g. 65, 75, 86, 05=105").

• Next digit: The generation (e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4).

Example: A serial number starting with ST752... is a Touchscreen Ten, 75 inch, Generation 2.

2. Older model (Prowise Touchscreen - PWT)

The structure is as follows: PWT + [Size] + 00 + [Generation]

• Always starts with PWT.

• The first 2 digits afterwards are the inch size.

• Followed by two zeros (00) and the generation number.

Method 3: Visual features (Pens & Speakers)

Don't have the serial number handy? Then look at the speakers and the placement of the pens. On all screens, the pens are placed horizontally within the speakers.
