What to do if the Prowise Touchscreen Max does not power on?

Is your screen not turning on or showing no image? Follow these steps to get it up and running again.

  1. Check the power LED

Look at the LED indicator on the bottom frame or right-hand side of the screen.

🟢 Green – Screen is on

🔴 Red – Standby mode → Press the power button to wake it

⚫ Off – No power → Continue with the steps below

 

  1. Check power connections
  • Make sure the power cable is firmly connected to both the screen and wall outlet
  • Test the wall outlet with another device
  • Check if the main power switch is turned on (if applicable)
  • Unplug the power cable for 30 seconds and plug it back in

Tip: Avoid using power strips or extension cords while troubleshooting.

 

  1. Check the OPS module 
  • Turn off the screen and unplug the power cable
  • Loosen the thumb screws on the OPS module (left side of the screen)
  • Remove and firmly reinsert the module until it clicks into place
  • Reconnect power and turn the screen back on

Important: Always reseat the OPS module while the screen is powered off.

 

Still not working?

  • Try a different power cable or wall outlet
  • Disconnect all external devices (HDMI, USB-C, USB)
  • If the LED stays off or keeps blinking, contact your IT admin or Prowise Support
