Samsung phones have a secret feature that allows users to cast the screen to Chromecasts. Normally, Smart View only allows users to cast the phone via Miracast devices, such as Samsung TVs. To also cast to Chromecast devices, users need to perform the following steps:
- Go to the Smart View menu
- Press the three dots and tap Settings
- Tap About Smart View
- Press the part of the screen that says 'Smart View' ten times
- If prompted for a password, enter #00rtsp00
- Toggle the Google Cast toggle
Now Chromecast, Android TV and Google TV devices should be visible in the Smart View menu.
