During the update to Central 6.0 it is possible that the screen freezes on ‘Verifying Update’.
Because of this it was decided to temporarily cease the update to Central 6.0 for the following types of touchscreens:
- Prowise Touchscreen One Gen 2
- Prowise Touchscreen Ten Gen 2
As soon as the cause and the solution for this are known, the OTA update will be made available again.
However, it is possible to get the screen on Central 6 via a new installation. After this, the screen does need to be reset and possibly re-registered in Screen Control.
If you want to update the screen with this method, please send a message to service@prowise.com including the serial number of the touchscreen(s) that you want to update.
You will then receive the link to the update file and the installation instructions via e-mail.
