You can update the firmware of the Prowise 4K camera using a Windows device. Note; the camera must be directly connected to the Windows device. If you are using a PC module, the camera must be connected to a USB port of the PC module.
- Connect the camera to the Windows device.
- Download the following file from WeTransfer: https://we.tl/t-0ZsCQHO5iL
- Extract the file and open the folder “USBDownloadTool”
- Start the programme “USBDownloadTool_v1.36.exe”:
- Please wait 30 seconds.
- Click on the button 'Upgrade Firmware' fter waiting 30 seconds.
The firmware update will now begin. During the update, the connection will be established and then disconnected.
Please do not disconnect the camera. - When you see the following screen, the update is complete.
- Click “OK”. You can now disconnect the camera and reconnect it to the touchscreen.
Once the firmware is updated you will be able to update any subsequent firmware versions in the near future using the 4K camera app in Prowise Central.
